On 2 July 2021 the President of the Republic of Poland in the presence of Minister of National Defence, the Chief of National Security Bureau, Management Staff and Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces solemnly handed out the banner to the Armed Forces Operational Command. This significant event took place on this year's holiday of the mentioned command and the seventeenth anniversary of its creation.
