2010.06.07 - 25

Our engineers in the 7–25 June 25, attended - upon request Polish MOD - together with a delegation of Polish Armed Forces in the next edition NATO Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exercise (NATO CWIX). Similarly to the editions in 2008 and 2009 for the third time the Networkcentric Teleinformatic Platform JASMINE together with C3IS JASMINE have been successfully used. They have already met all of the tests and have been highly evaluated by the organizers of the exercise, visiting delegations and testing groups.

CWIX

During the exercise the JASMINE Systems in mobile and board versions successfully passed the tests with the reference NATO systems and with the systems belonging to the countries as follows: Netherlands, Finland, Denmark, Germany, USA, Italy, Turkey, France Spain, Estonia, Sweden and have achieved full interoperability at the level of brigade, battalion and platoon. Our systems performed automatic bi-directional data transformation in the Baseline version 2 and 3. Moreover with their participation few hundred interoperability tests completed with positive results. They were carried out under:

  • operational scenario, which was based on the simulation of a peacekeeping mission with the participation of several countries;

  • bilateral tests, during which the protocols MIP B3, MIP B2, ADatP-3, Track Info, NFFI (IP1, IP2 and SIP3), NVG, JIPS, GeoServices (with the protocols WMS, WFS and Geoportal) and also JCHAT (with XMPP protocol) were used;

  • JPOSO, which was based on providing data to the POSO system (Joint Common Operational Picture);

  • IEG FS JASMINE, which as an our IEG intermediated the exchange of data between the systems of other countries, while maintaining the required level of security.

It is worthwhile making a note that in this year's exercises JASMIN Systems were with new breakthrough solutions that have been registered under a separate specifically allocated numbers (so called trials):

  • C3IS JASMINE (TRIAL #82) – ensured full interoperability and provided set of services for dedicated products: HMS, BMS, DSS;

  • HMS C3IS JASMINE (TRIAL #83) – dedicated to operational and tactical level and applied at fixed command posts (in the exercise it was applied at the brigade level enabling cooperation and data exchange with allied countries systems);

  • BMS C3IS JASMINE (TRIAL #84) – dedicated to mobile command systems at tactical level via radio (in the exercise was applied at a battalion level);

  • DSS C3IS JASMINE (TRIAL #85) – dedicated to dismounted soldiers in battle groups (in the exercise was applied at the platoon level);

  • IEG FS JASMINE (TRIAL #86) – provided a data control and protection for the exchange of data between coalition networks with different levels of classification.
