The BMS JASMINE-FONET and his software C3IS JASMINE version 1.5 were tested during the next Signal and Informatics Workshops codenamed ASTER exercise in training area ŻAGAŃ on the days 29.09–9.10.2009. The hardware and software have achieved good results. The tested solution have been installed on the armored personal carriers, the BFT JASMINE command vehicle and at battalion level field command posts.

 

The BMS JASMINE-FONET operated on the levels of dismounted soldier to the battalion command post with the use of the radio. There was carried out an integration of the BMS JASMINE-FONET with the TOPAZ ground artillery fire control system.

 

The BMS JASMINE-FONET visualized a common picture of tactical situation in all workstations including APC ROSOMAK, BFT JASMINE command vehicle and dismounted soldiers (moving in training area) equipped with personal radio IP and tactical terminal PDA.

 

During the workshops, together with WB Electronics company, the integration of the BMS JASMINE-FONET with a UAV was carried out with a positive result.

 

The exercise and tests were visited by the representatives of the Polish General Staff and the Land Forces Command.
