From 1st to 20th June 2008 in Camp Jorstadmoen military base, Lillehammer, Norway, NATO Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration 2008 (CWID 2008) exercise took place with 18 participating countries.
The basic purpose of the exercise was to test interoperability between C4I systems, to record observations and conclusions and relay them to the army and industry for analysis and working out solutions for future.
This year at CWID, Polish Army presented C3IS JASMINE installed in WAN Access Box devices. C3IS JASMINE System proved successful in bilateral tests of software compliant with Multilateral Interoperability Programme (MIP DEM \ MEM), Allied Data Publication Number 3 (ADatP-3), NATO Friendly Force Information (NFFI), in realization of a scheme Common Operation Picture (MIP DEM, ADat-3) and Blue Force Tracking COP (NFFI and BFT JASMINE). The system proved its availability to operate in coalition missions and common operations within international military operations.
Implemented modular construction of the system and the solution based on MIP programme (Multilateral Interoperability Programme) proved high scaling and interoperability of the system.
From 11th to 18th June, the exercise was observed by representatives of the Information Technology and Telecommunication Department of MoND, P6 of General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Communication and Information Technology Centre of MoND, Data Communications Systems Management Centre and Sea Operations Centre. They estimated C3IS JASMINE System highly also his results during tests.
