From 23rd April to 14th May 2008 our engineers - as motioned by Ministry of Defense representatives - for the consecutive time, provided technical support to Polish Army delegation during International Interoperability Workshops Combined Endeavor in Germany. For the fourth time, the JASMINE System was successfully used. On the basis of the system, Core Network was deployed, which constituted the main communication platform for the exercises and system tests that were at the disposal of delegations of all the participating countries.
The network built on the basis of the JASMINE System was estimated by the organizers as the best in the history of Combined Endeavor. In gratitude for that, Polish delegation was given words of appreciation and acknowledgement.
In the part of the exercises regarding command systems interoperability (Common Operational Picture), C3IS JASMINE software was used. The tests showed that this product, as the only Polish solution, provides both interoperability and functionality within the standards set by NATO countries in Multilateral Interoperability Programme as well as the needs of STANAG 5527 (NATO Friendly Force Information), which are necessary for the realization of international cooperation between military units of different countries performing common tasks e.g. in military missions.
Moreover, in the above mentioned undertaking, Blue Force Tracking systems exercise was fully successfully executed for the first time. Our solution - BFT JASMINE, was part of it, providing data transfer point between the participating countries.
