For the first time in the history of this type of trainings, for the unprecedented scale (ANAKONDA was the greatest undertaking with the use of all the armed forces realized for 13 years), data ,video and voice transmission, based on the VoIP technology (Voice over IP) was successfully put into effect. It was executed by means of JASMINE System, produced by our company and implemented into Armed Forces equipment. During the enterprise, WAN Access Boxes mounted on KTO (ROSOMAK) and tracked armoured carriers M113 were widely used as elements of the above mentioned system. They provided among others:
-
connection with external networks (in this case with MIL WAN) in VoIP technology using UKP3-JASMINE program module. From ROSOMAK vehicles, voice connection with IP telephones in MIL WAN network was made as well as the return connection from MIL WAN network to moving ROSOMAK;
-
picture transmission from the camera in ROSOMAK carrier (tablet PC with a camera was installed) to the command post positioned in the area of the battle camp. Picture from the command vehicle during operation could be sent basically to any position in MIL WAN network;
-
transfer of sound and text messages;
-
map display of the battle field situation by means of C3IS-JASMINE program module. At the command post, the terminal in MIL WAN network was operating displaying relocating vehicles.
Our engineers took part in the training as a technical back-up and personnel trainers.
